Bean Pigeon Coffee Finder Privacy Policy

This policy describes Bean Pigeon's handling of information when you use the Bean Pigeon Coffee Finder through ChatGPT or another MCP-compatible client. The Coffee Finder is currently a public, read-only service and does not require a Bean Pigeon account.

Information processed

The Coffee Finder receives only the information needed to answer a tool request, such as coffee search terms, flavor and roast preferences, budget or decaf filters, a Bean Pigeon coffee ID, and—when you request a Brew Lab starting recipe—the espresso machine and grinder names you provide.

The Coffee Finder does not ask for payment-card information, health information, government identifiers, passwords, authentication secrets, or precise location.

How information is used

Request inputs are used to search Bean Pigeon's coffee catalog, return coffee details, and generate Brew Lab starting recipes. Operational server logs may also be processed to maintain security, reliability, and troubleshoot errors.

Sharing and recipients

Bean Pigeon does not sell Coffee Finder request data. Information may be processed by service providers that host or operate Bean Pigeon's infrastructure, only as needed to provide and secure the service. When you choose to follow a link to a roaster or another third-party site, that site's own privacy practices apply.

Retention

The current Coffee Finder tools do not create Bean Pigeon user profiles or save Brew Lab sessions. Bean Pigeon does not intentionally retain tool-request content as a Coffee Finder user history. Limited technical logs may be retained for the period configured by Bean Pigeon's infrastructure providers and as reasonably necessary for security, reliability, and legal obligations.

Your controls

You can avoid sending optional preferences, disconnect the Coffee Finder from ChatGPT, and choose not to follow external purchase links. For questions about information handled by Bean Pigeon or requests concerning applicable privacy rights, use the Bean Pigeon support page.

Changes

If Coffee Finder later adds accounts, saved brews, purchases, or other data-handling features, this policy will be updated before those features are represented here.
